How Dermapen really works?
Dermapen uses the technique of micro needling which is exactly same as old Chinese technique of acupuncture and its main function is not to reduce the pain but to enhance the glowing of appearance.
Originally derma pen used only 12 needles that are capable to puncture the outer layer skin when it is rolled over the skin surface. These puncture ultimately create huge number of pores on skin surface for a short period only.
This dermapen is positioned vertically and when the switch is on an inside motor allows the needle to move rapidly back and forth on skin surface. Therefore the skin will initiate stimulating leading to the generation of collagen and elastin.
These collagen and elastin will promote healing or restoration of wounds already made by microneedling and we will get a glowing appearance. Derma pen is mostly used for removing wrinkles, fine lines, scars and stretch marks.
But the principle of derma pen is very simple to say that it ultimately destroys the upper layer of skin and allows regenerating a new layer on skin and thus it rejuvenating appearance. It has been found that derma pen is most effective and advantageous than other skin treatment procedures and its popularity is gaining day by day.
Dermapen needle tip – How many times can I use each tip?

Since the needle tips remain in needle tip cartridge there is little chance of contamination. When you change the tips you change the whole cartridge as a result safety of patient is confirmed which is of paramount importance.
The needle cartridge is very cheap and therefore the whole treatment is less costly than other treatment. So it is needless to say that the dermapen is an ideal solution for skin rejuvenating and glowing your face in recent time.

Moreover the micro needling tips come with two opposing vents that restrict backflow of body fluids in the device body. Therefore the chance of contamination is totally void.
Dermapen Vs Derma roller:
Both dermapen and derma roller uses the technology of microneedling but the application is different and also effectiveness. It is noted that when you are microneedling with a pen it rapidly creates pores up and down with minimum spaces but when you micro needle with a roller it takes longer space to create pores.
More over the pores created by pen is electrically automatic while roller is manual. Microneedling with pen and roller are used to stimulate the production new elastin and collagen. The microneedling with derma pen is less painful than that of derma roller. Both the process makes your skin rejuvenating but the case of derma pen is more advanced and effective than that of roller.
The dermapen is more precise in the sense that it can be used to treat the sensitive places such as around eyes, nose and upper lip while derma roller cannot reach there safely. In case of dermapen you can reach various depth by adjusting the needles but in case of roller you cannot as it uses single depth.
Micro needling by pen is vertical that has got less chance of injury causing fewer side effects and less curing time. But since microneedling by roller is angular it tears more skin layer and thus it is prone to more side effect and needs more curing time. Considering all the factors we can say that microneedling pen is much more advance, effective, fast and more comfortable.
